Matt Smith

Matt likes to tell stories.

He has spent the better portion of his 15-year career referring to himself in the third person and working as a copywriter and creative director, developing traditional, digital and integrated marketing campaigns for numerous clients including Pepsi, Texas Instruments, Texas Tourism, Foot Locker and Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Prior to joining Belmont, Matt has led strategic and creative development for online initiatives including websites, microsites, social media executions, mobile applications and online media for major brands, including Bud Light, Verizon and Louisville Slugger. He holds a Journalism degree from the University of North Texas and has a special place in his heart for triathlons, queso and flip-flops.
